Appointed Person
No formal qualification legally required — but training is strongly recommended
For very small, low-risk workplaces the HSE requires you to appoint a responsible person to take charge in an emergency. While no formal certificate is legally mandatory at this size, HSE strongly recommends that appointed persons complete Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) to be properly prepared.

05 Why SafeServe
Training that actually sticks.
We’re a hybrid first aid training provider with one mission: turn nervous first-time learners into confident first responders.
🎯
Small groups, tailored to your workplace
We cap most courses at 8 learners — and the time other providers fill with extra bodies, we spend on what's actually likely to hurt your team. Burns and scalds for kitchen staff. Slips, head bumps and choking for nurseries. Cardiac arrest and bleed control for sports clubs. Same accredited syllabus, scenarios that actually look like your day.
🏢
Onsite delivery
We come to you — office, school, club or site. No travel costs for your team, and we train in the room you'd actually respond in.
💻

Evenings, weekends, split shifts — we fit around your operation, not the other way round.
💷
Transparent pricing
Clear per-learner pricing with group discounts. Certificates included, no surprise extras.

Where care meets compliance — practical first aid skills, taught by experienced instructors.
SafeServe Solutions delivers accredited first aid training to businesses, schools, nurseries, sports teams and community groups across Cambridgeshire and the wider South East. Every course is built around the people in the room — small group sizes, real-world scenarios, and instructors who’ve actually used these skills in the field.
We work in a hybrid way: theory is delivered online so your team can work through it whenever suits them, and the practical, hands-on element is delivered at your premises (or a venue of your choice). Less time off the floor, more skills retained.

07 FAQs
Common questions
What does “blended” mean?
Blended courses split the learning between online theory (which your team complete at their own pace, usually 1–4 hours) and a shorter, hands-on practical session at your premises. You get the same certificate as a classroom-only course, with significantly less time off the floor.
Where do you deliver training?
We operate as a hybrid provider — online theory anywhere in the UK, with practical sessions delivered across Cambridgeshire and the wider South East. Get in touch with your postcode and we’ll confirm.
How many people can I book on a course?
Most courses run with up to 8 learners as standard — we deliberately keep groups small so every learner gets plenty of hands-on time on the manikins and walks away genuinely confident. Larger groups (up to 12) can be arranged on request. Smaller groups (minimum 4 is typical) also work well, and we can link multiple smaller bookings together for cost-effective training.
Are your certificates HSE-recognised?
Yes — our EFAW and FAW courses meet HSE requirements for workplace first aid. Paediatric courses are EYFS-compliant for Ofsted-registered settings.
How quickly can you deliver a course?
For onsite courses we usually need 5–10 working days’ notice, but we often have last-minute dates available. Online theory can start immediately.
Do you offer refresher / annual updates?
Yes. We offer annual BLS & AED refreshers, mid-cert top-ups, and reminder notifications before your existing certificates expire.
Can I pay by invoice?
Absolutely. We invoice businesses on standard 14-day terms and accept BACS, card and PO numbers.
